Womad EARTH STATION - 21-23 October 2011

If you are looking for some exciting entertainment, the Womad Earthstation festival is taking place on 21-23 October. Based in the beautiful Belair National Park, only 20 minutes from the Hahndorf Country Loft Bed and Breakfast, it features 19 extraordinary groups from Australia and around the world. Some groups featured are Kronos Quartet, Rickie Lee Jones and The Audreys just to name a few.

The festival is not just about the music but offers a serious of excitin Planet Talks from some of the leading scientists, academics and thinkers to explore new ideas for a sustainable relationship with out planet.

Womad Earth Station is the first major festival in Adelaide to offer camping but if you are looking for something more comfortable, the Hahndorf Country Loft is nice and close for convenience.
